To kick off my birthday week Kacey (Kacey Luvi Photography) treated me to a day filled with coffee and photos and the SWEETEST birthday present ever. It was the best day and the best start to my birthday week. I HAD to share the photos with you guys because I love them so much, she is amazing! Check her out here. Thank you Kacey!!!
The amazing Leah Hope Photography asked Mack and I if we wanted to do a couples shoot with her at this cool location and of course we jumped at the opportunity. I just love Leah and her work is beautiful so I was super excited to collaborate with her again and get these photos with Mack. Thanks Leah for the gorgeous shots!!
Mack and I had the BEST weekend in Sedona celebrating our one year anniversary!!! We always love going up there, but feeling like we were going up there for a special occasion made it that much more fun and exciting. Here are some photos from our weekend (I am sharing ALOT of photos because I took too many good ones that I love!)
This is the view from my family’s home in Sedona. Can you see why we love it so much?
Friday night we went to a casual dinner with our good friends who happened to be in town. This was our car selfie on the way :)
Saturday we went to Page Spring Winery. We are so in love with this place!
We got the ECIPS 2013 wine and both really loved it.
The food at Page Springs is SO good!! We got a cheese board, pizza, and truffle chips. Too good. OH and the cheese board came with homemade peach jam from local peach trees, and I basically died and went to heaven after eating that jam. Mack was making fun of me because I loved it so much (but really he did too).
I love the natural running water at Page Springs. So romantic!!!
I can’t get over this photo of Mack. SO HANDSOME! I made him put on my hat and he didn’t like it, but I think he looks mighty fine in it hehe. Im trying to convince him to get a hat lure this because I think it looks so good!
I love this little heart shaped cactus.
Had to get one more together with the view
Ah, told you there were a lot of photos to share!!! But honestly, I just love Mack and I want to be able to have these memories forever. I would say we had a very successful first anniversary. I can’t wait for a lifetime of anniversaries and adventures with this guy, he certainly makes life so much more fun and interesting and funny!!
P.S. you should totally check out Page Winery! It’s a real gem. And, more to come on one of our favorite places to eat in Sedona!!!
Mack and I recently got to meet up with the extremely talented and amazing Jaci Marie Photography for a fun photoshoot! Mack and I are coming up on our one year anniversary (in one week, ah!) and we thought, or rather I thought, having photos to document our one year would be so fun and cute! Luckily Mack is a total trooper when it comes to having photos taken, actually he is more than a trooper, he actually likes it! I am pretty sure I have a model for a boyfriend. I want to try to do this every year for our anniverary to document how we change and where life takes us. Jaci did such an amazing job capturing our personalities and our love for each other that it was SO hard to pick which ones to share! Here are the ones that I finally choose :)
I named this post “Sitting In A Tree” because these photos totally remind me of that little rhyme! Mack and Marissa sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G :)
I told you guys, he is totally a model!
I can’t even handle that look he is giving me, swoon!!!!
I saved my favorite for last, that feeling is my favorite feeling in the world! I love being swallowed up by his arms. When I look at this photo I can literally feel him hugging me, I just love it!
Next weekend we are going to Sedona to celebrate our anniversary and I am so excited! Sedona is one of our favorite places to go relax and enjoy the outdoors. I will definitely be sharing more of our favorite things to do and places to eat in Sedona with you soon!
Also, this is my very first personal blog post! Ah! This personal section of my blog will likely be filled with pictures of my boyfriend, my puppy, my faith, and personal ramblings that I feel like sharing. Thank you for reading and joining in on my life!
